Here I am once again about a week later. Not bad considering my blogging past. I have now come to my senses and realize that this semester is going to be rather difficult. I have English 2010 utopia/dystopia that proves to be interesting, but a lot of reading. Reading isn't a bad thing, I'm just very slow at it. I also have intro to human biology:anatomy and Physiology. Just looking at the title makes my brain hurt! and then of course there is the one and only University 1000 taught by the psychotic Jill Wilks. Can anyone say tranquilizer? Holy cow! If she talks any louder I swear I'll go deaf. But I do have my sanctuary classes: Dance and Institute. without those, I might in fact go completely insane (I'm not too far from it).  Other than school nothing else is really going on right now. The post office continues to pay crap but it's a good work environment. I'm going to apply to a restaurant on Monday called Cafe Orleans. They moved right next to the candy shop on main street in Cedar, so wish me luck on that.
I have just been called as the FHE grandpa in my ward. Let me explain. There are 5 FHE groups in my ward each headed by a "mom" and "dad" and I am over the moms and dads with the FHE grandma who is engaged and getting married in March so someone will be taking over her position shortly. Student wards are funny.
Anywho...to all of you fellow students out there I feel your pain and for those of you who are not students any longer, No more homework no more books etc.

Holy six months batman!

So, it's been six months since I've blogged...my bad! I forget that I have this thing. But to update you all in the past six months (without writing a novel) I started school at SUU in the fall of '07 and love it here. I must admit that I didn't like it much in the summer because no one is here in the summer, but once school started it was a blast. I passed all of my classes this last semester (WOOT) and I am continuing on my journey to finish up my generals (I will only have two more after this coming semester). I still work at the post office on campus and have so much fun. The pay conitues to suck...a lot...but I get weekends and holidays off so I can't really complain a whole lot.
I recently had Lasik surgery and absolutely love it! Being able to wake up and see is amazing and the fact that I went from legally blonde...blind (haha) to 20/10 vision is a miracle in and of itself.
Well...that's my life in a nut shell. My "love" life is non-existant, but I'm gonna be brave this semester and ask people out. (Ideas for cheap or free dates?)
I hope all is well with everyone and I will try and do better this year at my blog. No promises though :)

Who's who

I have a friend named Jaclyn Heugly (huge-lee) who did this celebrity look a like thing so I tried it out and here it is. It tells me that I look the most like Ricky Ullman...I'm not seeing it. Brittany and I decided that I look more like that James Van Der Beek fellow. And also take note that two of the look alikes are women: Gweneth Paltrow and Meryl Streep. Whatever. It was fun to do. I just need to become famous and then people can look like me. Haha.

The joys of being blonde

So the other day I was driving home from Richfield and I pulled into my driveway in Cedar City, turned off my car, took some stuff inside, changed my clothes and went back out to my car to go to my cousin Maddie's apartment and my car wouldn't start. I called Maddie to come and jump start my car, so she came and with in minutes I was on my way. As I was about to leave Maddie's apartment I grabbed her to jump start my car car once again because it wouldn't start. "Maddie, move your car to the other side of my car because it will be easier for the cables to reach the battery."

"Andrew, it would be easier for you to move your car to the other side of mine"

"Maddie...my car doesn't work"

At which point we both lost it completely to the point where I was crying because I was laughing so hard. The joys of being blonde.

Suicidal cat

Hello once again! As we all know "Saturday is a special day" especially when you see something extremely funny happen! I had the privilege of picking up my beautiful sister from EFY this past weekend, and we spent a wonderful morning at the University Mall bonding and shopping and what not. On our destination back to Richfield, we reached the exit by the Flying J and saw a cat crossing the freeway (which was unusual in and of itself) and then it jumped off the overpass!!! What the heck?! At first it didn't really register, but then I turned to Brianna and asked' " did that cat just jump off the freeway?" and she was like "Yeah!" and we both started laughing so hard! It was truly the highlight of the day.

I kinda' feel like a little kid who uses a computer for the first time. Haha! I have no idea what I am doing! It's a good thing I have spitty here to help me out! She's a blogger genius! Yay for friends who know what they are doing.
