Dear Restaurant Go-ers-
As those who bring you drinks, refill your drinks, bring you your food, refill your drinks, supply extra napkins, ranch, or whatever else you may request of us, refill your drinks, make and bring you your dessert, refill your drinks, check on you periodically and refill your drinks, we as your servers would like to tell you that it is upon your tips that we rely on our income. We make $2.15 an hour...if you can't afford to tip us (and I don't mean the meager 10% or less that you do leave), please stay home.

If all servers will remember I'm at their restaurant and keep my water glass filled, I'll continue to give my 20% or more tip every time ;)

i totally agree.. i had someone dine and dask last night freaking idiots.. i love you! CHerish
When we lived in Texas, we loved our server at a certain restaurant. We had a $25ish dollar meal and left her a $15 dollar tip. I tell you what, when we came back a few weeks later and requested that same server, we were treated like GOLD. It pays to be kind to the ones handling your food. (Plus it was a gift card from Trevor's company he worked for and we had to use it all up, so it really made no difference to us to tip her that much.)
