It has always been said that you will find what you are looking for in the last spot you look...duh...when you find what you've lost, you stop looking...which means you found it in the last spot you looked.
I lost my camera about a month ago and I have yet to find it, which leads me to believe that I won't be finding it in any spot that I look. Just one more thing to ad to my list of things that I need to buy...
